This is a favorite among parents and kids alike! The scooter gets very high marks for both fun and function. Plus it has a lot of features that make it easy to use, as well as safe and portable. One of the things that everyone raved about was the fact that the platform is very wide so their kids can stand on it easily with both feet (good for safety) and the other thing is that you can’t start the motor from a dead stop so your child can’t take off in a jerky motion and fall off the back – they must motor the scooter to 3 mph manually and then press the button to start.
One word of caution … this scooter is for kids that are 8 and older – some of the people that bought it for younger children were unhappy and I think that is mainly because younger kids really can’t handle a scooter of this size and mobility. So, if you are looking for older kids and teens the Razor E100 is probably the best of the “cheap electric scooters for kids” in the $100 price range.
